The Great Yellowstone National Park Souvenir Cup Mystery

I have this cup.  It got dug up in the San Francisco area.  There was quite a bit of gunk on the surface.  I could clean it more but have been reluctant in that I am not sure of what it is made of.  It looks like copper peaking out from under the surface.   I have looked all over the web and can not find anything like it.  There is a picture of the Northern Gate.  From what little I know, this was the first entrance to the park used when rail was the primary method of travel to the park.  So that would make the cup from the early park history.

There is also a picture of the Old Faithful Inn.  The Inn was built also early in the Parks history.  If you have any information on this cup I would love to know more.  Thanks,

I just found this same cup at an estate sale, but No Luck anywhere on the internet. I was lucky to even have found your post. Did you ever find out anything about it?

I am in Yellowstone at the moment and I have taken it every where I can think of to get answers. The Yellowstone association has a research facility here and they say they have never seen the cup before.
I took it around to some of the local shops and again no one had seen it before. So, who knows. Could you seen me some pictures of yours.
